This page and the following one, will contain some personal photo's that I have taken over the years. All these photo's were taken in the state of Michigan. The locations of each will be in the description of each. I have tried to place them into categories. All were taken with a simple 35mm camera, nothing fancy. Most of these pictures are between 55kb and 281 kb. So take your time, enjoy the pictures and see some of the sights around this great state.
A few photo's that are some of my favorite's. This photo was not taken by me. The Family had this one done many years ago. I just got a copy of it and this photo needed to be in this group. This shows the front part of the family farm. This is by far the best photo of the Ol' Man. Taken after a good day of duck hunting. 1998 This was taken at the family farm. Hiking back to the lake one day, This came busting out of the woods. Right time, right place, more like a lucky shot. Standing on the top of the garage at the farm one evening. I was able to capture this beautiful sunset. On the back of the farm lies a lake. This is our access to it. Fall colors on the lake. The willow tree on the rights marks where our launch is. This is just a part of the shoreline that makes up the family farm. An interesting cloud bank and another beautiful sunset. Taken on S Manistique lake in the U.P. This is my nephew, One of the "City Boy's. This was taken up on the farm lake. We had a great day fishing. His Bass measured out at 15.5 inches. This is "MotorMouth" my other nephew. This was his first fishing trip with me. He did a great job. Do you like the Banana gills he caught. I did!! Here are the two newest members in "Bass's royal order of Great fisherman" This is my nephews with their fishing equipment.
Over the last couple of years as I hiked around the family farm. Located in Central N.W. Michigan. I took these photo's at various times of the year. A view from the woods, looking back from the launch area to the front of the farm. A view of one of the hunting blinds on the farm. This is one of the older ones and is located near a tree line. I was out hiking one fall day. As I came around a small stand of trees. This view struck me. The tree in the center had been hit by lighting. One of the many secluded area's on the farm, this one being surround by the woods. Another photo of the farm. I have spent a lot of time here and everytime I go hiking, I seem to see something different about the place.
I started taking my camera out with me while I am fishing. These photo's were taken on the lake that we have access to on the family farm. A misty morning out on the lake. The sun starting to burn off the fog. A great sight to see, at least for me. A cloudy morning, a lake and even better the bass were really hitting on this day. Fall out on the lake. The colors are quite beautiful. The woods on the shoreline are part of the farm.
